SUMMARY:
We are seeking a suitably experienced Counter Sales Consultant for our client based in the Northern Suburbs. Our client is a leading provider and distributor of mild steel pipes, fittings, and flanges in South Africa, with branches throughout the Country.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Assisting walk-in, call-in, and existing customers with all services and products related queries and orders as required.
Providing clients with insightful and knowledgeable information on their queries and needs.
Creating quotations on orders on the POS system (SYSPRO)
Co-ordinating stock for customer’s orders and projects.
Liaise with warehouse on stock allocations.
General sales administration and tasks within the scope of the role.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (counter / internal sales) and industry (sheet metal/steel / piping)
Highly knowledgeable in relevant products within the industry
Professional and friendly demeanour.
Computer literate and experience with SYSPRO
Self-motivated, organized, and excellent communication skills.
Strong team player and sales driven.
