The Role: Costing Analyst

This role exists to ensure internal pricing and costing systems remain accurate, competitive, and efficient. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you''ll help identify cost-saving opportunities, benchmark against industry standards, and maintain reliable costing data. It''s an ideal position for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in structured environments and wants to grow within a dynamic global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 1-2 years'' experience in a cost, pricing, or data analysis role
• Assist in compiling, updating, and reviewing internal pricing models
• Support benchmarking exercises to enhance cost competitiveness
• Identify and interpret cost trends using Excel and analytical tools
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of costing databases
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet pricing and reporting deadlines
• Provide general support in process improvements related to cost efficiency

About You

• 1-2 years experience in a finance, costing, or data-heavy support role
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
• Comfortable working with databases and learning new software
• Basic understanding of financial principles and cost structures
• An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to solving problems
• Experience in logistics or freight is a plus, but not essential
