SUMMARY:
A well-established non-profit organization, focused on uplifting informal communities, seeks an experienced and innovative Cost and Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Sandton. *Please note this is a fixed term contract for 3 months with the possibility to go permanent. Candidates who can commence employment on a short notice is preferred.

Job & Company Description:

A well-established non-profit organization, focused on uplifting informal communities, seeks an experienced and innovative Cost and Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Sandton.

*Please note this is a fixed term contract for 3 months with the possibility to go permanent. Candidates who can commence employment on a short notice is preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to EXCO and operational staff.

Duties include, but not limited to preparation of financial data, financial analysis, full cost and management accounting and identification of problematic areas, etc.

Education:

BCom Hons in Accounting or equivalent

Completed CIMA Strategic Level or TOP CIMA is a non-negotiable

Skills & Experience:

5+ years'' experience in a Cost and Management Accountant role is a non-negotiable

Operational finance experience is essential for this role

Experience with Pastel and VIP is a non-negotiable

Advanced MS Excel skills

Proficient in building costing models

Experience in cost saving initiatives

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Own reliable transport is a non-negotiable as this role will include travel to various informal settlements
