SUMMARY:
Cost Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Analysis of the jobs for closure-(WIP) and attending Manufacturing WIP meetings;
Address WIP challenges and report back to Business Unit managers on WIP status;
Analysis of jobs for sales results;
Reporting weekly income statement estimate to the USA;
Preparing month-end finance pack to distribute to the business;
Participate in WIP stock count when required;
Preparing and circulating sales update when required; and
Month end recon preparation;

Analysis and of monthly sales margins, and investigation of deviations from the norm;
Preparation of quarterly accounting packs for submission to US Corporate Accounting department;
Preparation of outlook and budget files (sales and costs) and upload into SAP;
Preparation and reviewing of general ledger account reconciliations;
