SUMMARY:
A manufacturing concern in Alberton, Johannesburg is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist in the development and maintenance of standard costing sheets
Ensure monthly reasonability checks and cost implosions are maintained
Assist in annual manufacturing budget preparation
Development manufacturing analysis reports and analyzing production variances
Yield and Costing Reporting
Accounting for Wastage in BOMs and reporting on it
Monitoring inventory transactions and ensuring ERP is live and accurate
Management of recovery costs within Business unit

Qualification:
Degree in Finance or Cost and Management Accounting
CIMA (highly advantageous)
