SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is looking for a hardworking Cost Accountant to join their Johannesburg South based Finance team. If you are a qualified Cost Accountant, please apply!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) degree specialising in Cost Management or Finance is required
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) designation
Minimum 3 years’ previous working experience is required
TOPP article working experience advantageous

Job description & Skills:

Costing function within the department and company
Controlling all capital expenditure
Implementing costing systems within the department and company
Preparing management reports
Forecasting and variance analysis of financials
Supervising the submission of monthly cost reports to management team
Assisting with the performance of ad hoc and/or previous unassigned tasks that may be required to provide ongoing support required
