: Manufacturing company seeks a Cost Accountant to manage the factory performance, KPI''''s and reconcile manufacturing gross profit margin, calculate factory yield and implement financial controls, Control stock items and reconcile accounts, costed products and controlled assets

POSITION INFO:

Cost Accountant

Area: Brits, North West

Package: negotiable up to R50000 P/M

Purpose of position: Manufacturing company seeks a Cost Accountant to manage the factory performance, KPI''''s and reconcile manufacturing gross profit margin, calculate factory yield and implement financial controls, Control stock items and reconcile accounts, costed products and controlled assets

Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitoring and review of conversion costs i.e. compilation of accruals and provision of risk stock;

The completion of plant manufacturing scorecard;

Forecasting on conversion costs & COGS;

Consumption reports and support plant with continuous improvement initiatives;

The maintenance of Information records,

Assist with COGS Annual budgeting.

Skills and Requirements

The successful candidate will have proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong analytical skills and proven experience in a Manufacturing environment.

A high degree of business partnering will be required which will inform continuous improvement projects and reducing costs of non-conformance.

Minimum, four years’ experience in a similar financial position,

Computer Skills - Syspro, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

B Com Accounting / CIMA or related degree.
