POSITION INFO:

Job Position: Cost Accountant

Ref: 3641

Location: Hankey

Salary:  R35 000 to R40 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification

Qualifications / Requirements:

• B.Com Accounting / Cost Accounting
• Completed training contract of Articles with audit or auditing firm
• Strong Excel skills
• Competent in Xero Accounting system highly advantageous
• Competent with regards to company statutory regulations – tax / VAT / PAYE

Key Performance Areas:

• Management Accountant responsible for primary processing and reviewing of all accounting transactions for the business
• Day to day processing of transactions as well as review of work completed by Creditors and Wage Clerks
• Responsible for all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Review of payroll for accuracy and completes
• Accounting of all income and costs
• Management reporting
• Preparation of monthly trial balance for all entities involved
• Statutory reporting / submissions
• Direct reporting to Managers as well as CFO
