POSITION INFO:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems for tracking project and operational expenses
Prepare detailed cost reports, including variance analysis
Monitor and report on overheads, labor, and inventory usage and costs
Collaborate on the development of project budgets and financial forecasts
Analyze budget variances and recommend actions to address cost overruns
Support the preparation of annual financial budgets
Manage costing and valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Perform regular inventory stock reconciliations
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls
Streamline cost accounting processes to improve efficiency
Implement cost-saving initiatives across departments
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement to ensure accurate costing
Provide financial input for tendering and bidding processes
Present cost performance reports during monthly management reviews
Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Skills & Experience:
Article must be complete!

Qualification:
A relevant Finance or Accounting degree
PA(SA) designation? Even better!
