Cost Account

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Middelburg is looking for a Cost Accountant in the manufacturing industry They are looking for a seasoned individual with extensive experience in managing the costing function of the business. This person must be deadline-driven and able to analyze and report variances and highlight opportunities for cost reduction to management.

POSITION INFO:

Skills & Educations:

• Bcom in Management accounting or Financial management
• If currently busy with CIMA (Stratigic Level) will be advantages or Bcomp
• 5-7 years experience specialising in the costing function
• Advanced excel

Key Performance Areas:

• Managing the stock system Oracle JD Edwards
• Creating and maintaining Bill of Materials
• Creating general and maintain ledger accounts
• Intercompany invoicing
• Customer invoicing
• Inventory movement and reconciliation
• Facilitating monthly and year end stock counts
• Monthly reports
• Manage and mitigate risks in the costing function
• Stock management
