Corporate Finance Executive

Leading Corporate Finance advisory team seeks a Corporate Finance Executive to join their team. This is a fantastic team, who have had great successes over the last year and have a role open due to growth in their business. Role suited to a newly qualified CA(SA)/ CFA candidate looking to enter the transactions / corporate finance space.

The role works closely with the experienced Directors of this award-winning team and offers great exposure and career development. Ideally, you'll have recently completed articles or have some transactions services / deal advisory experience. This is a unique opportunity, offering exposure to international clients and deals, an opportunity to work with a friendly, professional team with high ethic. Based in Cape Town, SA. This team values their talent and are passionate about making an impact.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with corporate and private equity clients' financial due diligences engagements
• Opportunity to work with the directors advising on raising equity and debt, advising management etc.
• Assist in the executive of transaction support
• Communicating and negotiating with senior stakeholders and client-facing
• Project management of transaction process
• Detailed research on companies and industries incl. analysing trends, potential transactions, investor research etc.
• Financial modelling

Requirements:

• Minimum of CA(SA)/ CFA qualified, with 3 years audit or accounting experience
• Ideally some transaction / deal advisory exposure, although not essential
• Must have excellent written and verbal skills
• Analytical thinker and highly numerate
• Good levels of self-drive and motivation
• Positive and team player attitude
• Ability to build good working relationships
• Strong business acumen and good levels of professionalism
