SUMMARY:
A rapidly scaling global technology business is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to establish and lead its finance backbone across international operations. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth organisation at a transformative stage, working closely with executive leadership and investors while shaping financial strategy, systems, and compliance globally.

POSITION INFO:

Lead global accounting and financial reporting under IFRS, including consolidation across multiple geographies
Own revenue recognition under IFRS 15 for complex SaaS, consulting, and hybrid business models
Drive month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness
Design and implement scalable accounting policies, controls, and processes
Oversee ERP implementation (NetSuite strongly preferred), integrating with CRM, billing, and FP&A tools
Manage finance operations including AR, AP, payroll, treasury, and compliance
Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators across multiple jurisdictions
Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team, supporting business growth and international expansion

Skills & Experience:
Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least 3–5 years in a Controller or equivalent role within a global organisation
Industry: SaaS/technology experience is essential (revenue recognition, subscription models). Exposure to project-based services is advantageous

Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15)
ERP implementation expertise (NetSuite preferred)
Strong controls and compliance mindset
Leadership: Proven track record of building and leading teams in international and/or emerging market environments. Able to operate strategically and hands-on

Qualification:
CA(SA) / CGMA / AGA or appropriate designation
Completed Degree in Accounting, Chartered Accounting or Financial Management
Completed Honours
