Corporate Accounts Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, within the Office Automation Industry is looking for a Corporate Accounts Manager to join their team. This position will focus on new business sourcing.

POSITION INFO:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Effectively employ sales methodology skills to achieve targets
• Increase the level of revenue
• Increase share of target market
• Conduct ongoing research and database management
• Maintain an accurate and current database
• Identify and develop sources of potential clients
• Regular communication and contact with clients – relationship development and maintenance
• Overcome client resistance and objections to products
• Advise Management of client feedback/comments relating to product content and pricing as well as company performance
• Provide a weekly planned schedule
• Achieve sales activities
• Demonstrate a full knowledge of all products, selling points and benefits in order to match appropriate products to client requirements
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products and services and activities
• Provide time-phased, reports on achievement and activities
• Liaise with other members of the BD team to promote sales opportunities etc.
• Weekly / monthly management reporting
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Educational Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Business related Diploma essential
• Business related Degree an added advantage

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Office Automation or IT industry essential
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development
• Experience in working with corporate business and dealing with Senior Management
• Experience in business process management
• Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Product knowledge advantageous
• Strong Board Room Presentation skills
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking
