This permanent position will suit a competent experienced Conveyancing Transfer Secretary, with initiative and responsible nature. The applicant must be reliable, have high energy levels and the ability to complete and provide excellent work levels on a continuous basis, have good mannerisms with even temperament, and have above average communication skills.
SALES AND TRANSFERS
Taking of instructions regarding Transfers; Bonds and Correspondent matters;
Attend to all Villager and Attorney correspondence;
Administer outstanding Estate transfers;
Process all Agreements for Agents Sales;
Draft up and process all Agreements for Private Sales;
Draft up and process all Addendums relating to Sales;
Issue consents to Transfer & Levy Clearances & Bond Clearances;
Maintain all databases;
Monthly & weekly reporting schedules; and
Provide support and assist with Estate planning.
FINANCIAL
Raise invoices for CCL, Sales Commissions, and Exit Levies; and
Generate Pro-forma invoices for Estates and Levies
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Matric
Legal Secretary / paralegal / conveyancing qualification advantageous
3 - 5 years’ conveyancing Secretarial experience
Sectional Title knowledge
Computer literacy including Microsoft suite;
Good writing and verbal communication skills in English;
Ability to think and plan strategically and laterally, to lead as well as work in a team and to work independently;
In-depth knowledge of the full spectrum of conveyancing transactions is essential;
Meticulous, attention to detail and quality-focused; and Deadline driven
Experience:
- Conveyancing Secretarial: 3 years (Required)
