SUMMARY:
Richards Bay. Established law firm seeks competent Conveyancing Secretary with solid conveyancing experience in transfers and knowledge of transfers and bond cancellations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities will include taking transfer instructions from estate agents and private clients, drawing of transfer documents, checking of documents, attending to signing of documents, registration of final accounts and dispatching documents to clients.

Prepare files accurately and according to specifications, attend to lodgements and registrations of all conveyancing transfers and to finances related to the transfer transactions, conduct property, person and company searches and perform FICA administration, following up to ensure the FICA requirements are complete.

Requirements:
  • Matric essential
  • Conveyancing qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 5-8 years conveyancing experience in transfers
  • Knowledge of and experience in transfers and bond cancellations
  • Full working knowledge of all MS packages
  • In-depth knowledge of conveyancing software / systems such as: Lexis Convey and Windeed
  • Ability to type documents confidently with attention to detail
  • Maintaining confidentiality in all matters
