Conveyancer (Admitted) - Nelspruit

SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in the Financial Services (Public Sector) has an EE opportunity available for an Admitted Conveyancer in the Nelspruit, Mpumalanga area.  This will be a contract position for 12 months.

POSITION INFO:

Preferred minimum education and experience requirements:

• LLB Degree
• Admitted as Conveyancer
• Admitted as an attorney
• 4 - 5 years (including pre-admission experience) Conveyancing experience
• Knowledge and understanding of the following processes:  Conveyancing, Deed''s office, Contract compilation and interpretation 
•  Must have a valid driver''s license and willing to travel as and when needed
• Understanding and interpretation of the following: National Credit Act, Companies Act, Close Corporations Act, Deeds Registries Act, Intestate Succession Act, Administration of Estates Act, Matrimonial Property Act, Security By Means of Movable Property Act and Wills Act

Key Performance Areas:

• Drafting, Vetting and Concluding Legally Enforceable Loan Contracts
• Responsible for the Registration of Securities and Associated Processes on behalf of the Organisation
• Manage, oversee and prepare various progress reports including record of Deeds Office registrations, closings, follow-up and adherence to desired outcomes
• Maintain Existing Client Accounts and Stakeholder Relationships
• Proactive awareness of new legislation and that may impact the Organisation’s business and provide advise
• People Management
• Providing Legal Advice
