Control Room Manager (Cutler)

SUMMARY:
The Control Room Manager will report to the Key Accounts Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

The Control Room Manager will report to the Key Accounts Manager. The primary responsibility of the Control Room Manager is to ensure an effective and efficient operation of a specialized Control Room.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enforce the Company’s ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure that the Control Room is fully operational and efficient
• Handle and resolve Staff and Client Complaints
• Carry out duties and tasks as per the Site Job Description
• Ensure that the primary function of the Control Room is always upheld
• On-site training of Security Personnel
• Management of a team within a control room
• Managing training and development and recruitment of control room staff
• Operating, monitoring, evaluating and maintaining of CCTV systems
• Putting controls in place to minimize incidents
• Administration of daily checks and logging and following up of reports
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Client
• Maintain Records
• Assist with ISPS Code Compliance
• Access Control
• Ensure CCTV Surveillance is maintained at maximum effectiveness

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PSIRA Grade A Registered
• Matric Certified
• Relevant General Management Qualification
• Solid Computer Proficiency
• Valid Drivers License
• 5 to 8 years of experience in the Security Industry
• 5 years of Control Room/C.C.T.V. Experience/ Call centre experience
• Industrial Plant Security background will be advantageous
• Electronic Equipment experience will be advantageous
• ISASA Security Training CCTV Control Room Management will be advantageous
• NKP Training will be advantageous
• First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and Safety REP training will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
