Contract Engineer

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Development of functional specifications to support improvement ideas.
- Testing of developments and processes in various systems.
- Data Collection, Analysis, Reporting and Visualisation.
- Responsible for investigating processes, procedures, and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness of personnel, equipment and facilities.
- Effectively drive continuous improvement projects using Industrial Engineering principles and TPS
- Working on various deliverables simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- NQF level 6 (360 credits): Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Power BI
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Automotive Industry is an advantage
- Applicants will be required to demonstrate competence and skills to execute specific key accountabilities as outlined above, with particular emphasis on the development of SOP’s, Testing of Processes, Planning and execution of Continuous Improvement projects,
- Plant layout design experience.
