SUMMARY:
Our client offers an integrated business improvement service that spans the key areas of organisational performance, people management and operational optimisation. They currently require specialists with experience in performance improvement, process - and operational optimisation to customise solutions, implement desired changes and ensure knowledge transfer to the workplace.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define required competencies and capabilities.

Develop skills through classroom training, complemented by on-the-floor coaching and evaluations.

Assess supervisors against these competencies to determine the development needs, establish a baseline and track progress.

Monitor and sustain improvement through the establishment of operational anchors, line manager coaching and more.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should be available to work away from home, on sites based anywhere in South Africa during the week and/or extended periods of time.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Commerce or qualification equivalent at NQF level 8 through relevant work experience (performance/continuous improvement)

At least three (3) years proven experience in consulting or relevant work experience.

Ability to work on multidisciplinary project teams.

Thorough understanding and application of methodologies in one or more of the following areas

Business analysis and process re-engineering
Management operating system
Capacity utilisation and efficiency studies
Supervisory development / coaching
Work and performance measurement
Change management activities
Business strategy facilitation

Experience in the mining industry / manufacturing will be highly beneficial.

Salary will be market related in line with qualifications, skills and experience.
