SUMMARY:
â€¢ The Continuous Improvement Engineer, working closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Regional Operational Manager to strategically implement lean manufacturing to continually improve the production process.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for leading site process and lean projects that contribute toward improving manufacturing/operations efficiencies and reducing all forms of waste by utilizing lean manufacturing & continuous improvement techniques. The individual will be responsible for managing the PMO office, managing projects, process mapping and optimization and implementation of Lean Manufacturing best practices throughout the Business.

EDUCATION/SKILL & EXPERIENCE:

Honors Degree level qualified in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical
Six sigma green/black belt qualification
MS Projects Experience as well as Engineering Simulation and Design Package experience
Min 3-5 years working experience of which 1 year must be with process engineering related projects and 1-2 years on project management work as a minimum
Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
Demonstrable knowledge practically of implementing lean manufacturing/continuous improvement
Sound knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning.
Cross-functional business team environment experience preferred
Proven ability to self-manage and deliver on time to budget.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
Advanced Excel abilities
Reliable and flexible in their approach
