SUMMARY:
A global leader in portable event branding solutions, seeks a dynamic content creator with incredible storytelling abilities and creativity to join their Marketing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate is someone with excellent writing & digital skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. Has a keen interest in sustainability and is eager to learn and contribute to the success of South Africa’s biggest portable branding solutions company and the various brands they represent within the group.

The position entails content creation for the social media community and websites, consisting of long and short-form copy writing, photography and videography.

Passion, creativity, drive, proactiveness, and the ability to juggle broad and diverse sets of brand and marketing objectives, are essential for this role.

Requirements:

• Ideally 3 years of relevant experience

• Based in Durban

• Own transport

• Related qualification in media, marketing, communications or a related creative field (advantage)

ESSENTIAL SKILL SET REQUIRED:-

• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)

• Experience working with Mail Chimp

• Experience working with Wordpress websites

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

• Experience in social media content production

• Creativity and flexibility

• Photography, videography and editing experience

• Excellent organisational skills (time and project management)

Some duties and not limited to

Create engaging and relevant content, both written and visual, that align with our various brands’ values and connects these brands with our prospective audiences.
- Ensure that all content that is published, adheres to copyright and data protection laws.
Writing, editing and uploading website content. Ensuring that content is accurate and current, whilst improving site SEO to generate quality leads through this platform.
Working with the Marketing team to develop and implement exciting and engaging staff campaigns that enhance the company culture.
Develop & execute engaging email campaigns to our customer database to help develop quality leads for our sales team.
