SUMMARY:
Opportunity for experienced Construction Foreman with mining industry experience to join a well-established firm in Rustenburg area

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric.
• Valid trade test with statement of results. - Boilermaker
• Must be medically fit.
• 5 years’ experience or more in the plant environment will be advantageous.
• Legal liability for supervisors/managers.
• POLC certificate or Project Construction Management certificate.
• Strategic management.
• Maintain proper utilisation of both equipment and people reporting to him

• Structural Steel Manufacturing.
• Platework Fabrication.
• Mechanical Support Fabrication.
• Pressure Vessels and Pressure Piping Fabrication.
• Pipe and Fitting Fabrication, Mild/Carbon/Stainless Steel.
• Hardwearing Plates.
• HDPE Piping & Fittings.
• SMPP Turnkey Project work including civils.
• Green & Brownfields Work.
• Furnace Steelwork, fabrication and Installation.
• (fabrication and installation)
• Fibre and Galvanised Grating.
• Corrosion Protection to customer specifications.

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
• Supervise and train workers and artisans.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget.
• Resolve problems when they arise.
• Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
