POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Administrator to provide essential support to the Head Construction Manager and the project management team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of a prestigious development project in Stellenbosch.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with project documentation, including contracts, reports, and permits.
Maintain project files and ensure compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate meetings, site visits, and communication between the construction team, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Help manage project timelines, track milestones, and monitor daily activities on-site.
Ensure health and safety documentation is up to date and support the team in maintaining a safe site.
Provide general administrative support to the development team, handling correspondence and office tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in project administration, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative or project coordination role within construction or property development.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Strong problem-solving abilities and positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position, with 50% time spent on-site and 50% in the office.
Occasional travel to other properties and extended hours to meet project deadlines.
