Concrete Foreman BUILDING, Mount Frere, Eastern Cape
Must have solid concrete structure experience of 10+ years
Must have firm working knowledge of re bar and formwork
Setting out skills with a Surveyor is required

POSITION INFO:
Preference shall be given to Applications from Eastern Cape areas. Xhosa speaking Applications are preferred. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaison with Technical Team & rebar teams
• Accurate interpretation of Drawings and understanding Specifications
• Daily planning of resources and materials to achieve maximum output efficiencies in order to meet Programme date
• Ordering materials and hiring plant
• Detailed setting out of the works from an established grid, benchmark or datum
• Maintain and transfer datum levels
• Daily checks of the works of Subcontractors for adherence to Drawings and specifications
• Cleanliness and good housekeeping
• Safety requirements are compiled with and the work area is safe to work in
• Complete Quality Assurance check lists daily and submit to Site Agent / Contract Manager
• React to Non-conformance Reports immediately
• Check or approve daily labour allocations by Site Clerk
• Control wastage of materials
• Liaise with Site Manager on the progress of different sites
