SUMMARY:
5* Hotel in the Rosebank area is looking for a Concierge Manager to join their dynamic team.
We are looking for a candidate with passion for the hotel industry to oversee and manage the concierge team to ensure outstanding guest service, provide accurate information and personalized experiences and coordinate guest requests with efficiency and professionalism.
The Concierge Manager acts as a key liaison between guests and all departments of the hotel, aiming to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
POSITION INFO:
Duties:
Supervise daily operations of the concierge desk and staff.
Provide guests with information on hotel services, local attractions, dining, entertainment, transportation, and other inquiries.
Ensure delivery of high-level customer service through training, guidance, and monitoring of concierge team members.
Coordinate reservations for restaurants, transportation, tours, and events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Respond to guest complaints and special requests with prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, bookings, and services provided.
Ensure concierge desk is presentable and well-stocked with brochures, maps, and current event information.
Work with other departments (Housekeeping, Security, Front Desk, Bell Desk) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Monitor staffing levels and schedules, and handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of concierge personnel.
Uphold hotel policies, standards, and values in every interaction.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a 5* luxury hotel or hospitality environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Fluent in English
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office, and concierge tools.
Must be SA citizen
