Computer Technician

Our client in the Ceres area is looking for a Computer Technician to join their team.

This is a permanent appointment, subject to the successful completion of a three-month probationary period.

The incumbent will report to the IT Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Computer hardware installation and computer software installation.
• Maintenance of network installation and camera systems.
• User support.
• After-hours assistance on IT equipment.
• Telephone system support.
• Wireless technology (Ubiquiti and Mikrotik) maintenance.

The successful incumbent will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• A+ and / or N+ Certification.
• Two years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned responsibilities will be preferred.
• Must be able to function under pressure.
• Good people skills.
• Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Be prepared to complete a practical test.
