Our client in the Ceres area is looking for a Computer Technician to join their team.
This is a permanent appointment, subject to the successful completion of a three-month probationary period.
The incumbent will report to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Computer hardware installation and computer software installation.
- Maintenance of network installation and camera systems.
- User support.
- After-hours assistance on IT equipment.
- Telephone system support.
- Wireless technology (Ubiquiti and Mikrotik) maintenance.
The successful incumbent will meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- A+ and / or N+ Certification.
- Two years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned responsibilities will be preferred.
- Must be able to function under pressure.
- Good people skills.
- Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Be prepared to complete a practical test.
