Component Fitter

Our client has an opportunity available for a Component Fitter in the Engine sector based in Springs.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• 5 to 6 years related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to keep information confidential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Package, Lidos and SharePoint would be advantageous.
• Knowledge with assembling components.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble component part by hand with the aid of machinery.
• Clean the work area daily.
• Work according to best practice work instructions.
• Follow assembly procedures relevant standards and policies.
• Ensure that quality, health and safety is adhered to.
• Ensure that paperwork for component received are in order.
• Assist with the testing of components.
• Assist with the quoting process of the disassembled component.
• Rotate between other sections such as Engine, Cylinder and Hydraulic Pump sections.
