Our esteemed national client, has created a new role within their organisation, for an experienced B.Com LLB qualified, admitted attorney, who has both legal officer and compliance officer experience of 3 years at least.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- · B.Com LLB
- Admitted attorney
- · With at least 3 years post admittance experience.
- · Must have experience in compliance and commercial law (beneficial if also experienced in drafting of contracts, Consumer Protection Law, Intellectual Property Law, Labor Law and/or Property Law)
RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE:
- Compliance and regulatory matters
- Onboarding of new service providers and suppliers
- Review of agreements
- Drafting of contracts, correspondence and giving opinions
- Providing general legal advice
- Recoveries
- Liaising with external advisors
- Record management
- Preferably able to assist with achieving the organisation''''s B-BBEE goals.
- Required Languages: Advanced English and Afrikaans.
- Software program knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint & MS Teams.
