SUMMARY:
A vacant opportunity with one of our clients in the Banking Sector, for a Compliance Officer (Admitted Attorney), to be responsible for guiding the business and monitoring processes and procedures to ensure that the Bank complies with all legislation relevant to the Bank.

POSITION INFO:
Qualification/s Required:

Law degree and admitted attorney/advocate of the High Court of South Africa.
Accredited member of the Compliance Institute of South Africa

Experience Required:

3 (three) years practicing as an admitted attorney; and/or
3(three) years in the field of compliance within the financial sector.
Will consider a newly admitted attorney''s looking to move from a law firm into Corporate, with experience as a junior attorney at a law firm who may be interested in leaving practice. Attorneys have more experience in interpreting Acts and giving legal advice and this would help Bank clients.
