Compliance Manager

SUMMARY:
The role will require the designated individual to ensure that the Company's policies and procedures

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the job:

The role will require the designated individual to ensure that the Company’s policies and procedures are compliant with all regulatory and required ethical standards which will include the following divisions, but not limited to: Health and Safety, POPI. Carry out regular audits and implementing the designed control systems and company policies. The incumbent will be well versed in all legal guidelines and corporate governance best practices.

Key Results Areas include:

• Work closely with the Head of Departments and HR to ensure that the standards and regulations are adhered to.
• Review and identify compliance issues and offer sound advice and ensure that all required training is attended.
• Identifying non conformity issues, plan and ensure all are within the required standards
• Assess and ensure that there are no violations of internal policies and or legal guidelines
• Continually reviewing the efficiency of the current controls and assessing if they are required to be updated
• Identifying any risks within departments
• Ensuring that any current and or future projects are within the given guidelines for the business.
• Ensuring that continual updating of industry and regulatory developments internally / externally for the company and ensure that best compliance control  
• All administrative requirements are updated and submitted to all required regulatory associations

Experience & Competencies:

• Certified Compliance professional is an advantage
• BSC Business Admin, Finance and or Law
• Attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate previous experience as a Compliance Manager
• Strong communication skill, written and verbal
• Ability to “read between the lines” and assess the policy and or procedure – must be able to demonstrate
•  Must have own vehicle and valid SA drivers license
