SUMMARY:

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking for a dynamic experienced Compliance Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. This role requires independence and objectivity. The position ensures the Board of Directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations which governs the different licenses within the Group.

POSITION INFO:

Key Experience:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years insurance compliance experience of which 2 years must have been in a Senior Management Role with insurance compliance as area of specialisation.
Firm knowledge of legislative framework including Companies Act, Financial
Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, Short-term and/or Long-term insurance regulatory framework, Insurance Act, Prudential Standard, Financial Sector
Regulation Act and other relevant legislation affecting the company;
Admission as attorney or advocate, knowledge and understanding of Financial Intelligence Centre Act, Public Finance Management Act, related Anti Money

Key Requirements:

Matric, Law Degree, COP
A Compliance Management Certificate from the Compliance Institute or equivalent;
Qualification to act as registered FAIS Compliance Officer for a Financial Services Provider
