Compliance Assistant

• To review all KYC documents for prospective clients and to determine and request additional/missing documentation in terms of the AML/CFT Legislation.
• Utilise systems such as World Check and Google Alerts to screen prospective and existing clients.
• To conduct risk profiling on all prospective clients.
• To conduct ongoing reviews of existing clients and request additional supporting documents as required by AML/CFT legislation.
• To provide assistance to the Compliance Officer in establishing and maintain a formal risk strategy to counter AML/CFT.
• To provide assistance to the Compliance Officer in implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls for AML/CFT.
• Implementation and ongoing compliance with internal programmes, controls and procedures in terms of the requirements AML/CFT legislation.
• Implementation of the compliance and risk framework and oversee the structure and management of the Company’s compliance function.

Accounting and Admin support (secondary to primary compliance role)

• Support group and subsidiaries' month end accounting procedures.
• Support group and subsidiaries audit process and liaising with auditors.

• Liaise with external parties according to the needs of the company, including completing regulatory surveys for the FSC, ROC etc.
• Assistance with tax returns; computations & filing; upload tax returns on MNS and arrange for electronic filing.
• General admin duties as required.
