Compliance Assistant

Our client based in Newton Park is seeking to employ an experienced Compliance Assistant to their dynamic team.

JOB SUMMARY:

To plan, organize and control production in the organization and to ensure that the goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard, and compliant to SABS / NRCS Standards and requirements

.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Taking ownership of the company's quality management
• Ensuring the quality management system is properly implemented and maintained, for the benefit of the company and to satisfy the SABS annual Audit
• Keeping all records relating to the OMS up to date and properly
• Set product quality standards
• Monitor quality standards of products
• Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems
• Assisting with NRCS and SABS applications and keeping all related documentation correctly filled and up to
• Keeping the retained samples properly stored for audit and traceability
• Assisting with Correspondence with the SABS and NRCS
• Assisting the Production Manager with the smooth running of the production facility.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Manage Health & Safety File
• Housekeeping in plant to be of the highest standard 5S method to be in place,

  • straightening
  • shining
  • standardizing and
  • sustain.
• Manage waste water from the plant in line with the Wastewater Systems Effluent
• Ability to supervise and blend all current products
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by management from time to
