POSITION INFO:
Join a dynamic team of driven, hardworking individuals based in the southern suburbs, Cape Town. Our established Client in the property sector is looking to appoint someone to support and assist their Compliance Department with all relevant compliance administration and legal drafting duties. The ideal candidate would have a legal background, and excellent administrative and drafting abilities. Real estate industry experience would be a great advantage!
Overview of responsibilities
• All administrative functions pertaining to Franchise contract administration, as required in terms of Franchise sales, re-sales, amendments, renewals and closures.
• Relevant drafting functions pertaining to the above.
• Franchise information management - ensuring that updated information on all Franchises are maintained on the company’s franchise information system.
• General assistance to the Compliance department in administering and ensuring Franchisor and Franchisee statutory compliance, which includes compliance with requirements from the EAAB, the FIC, etc.
General requirements:
• Qualification in / or related to law, legal administration or paralegal work
• Excellent use of the English language and good legal drafting skills
• Experience working with Google G-Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving abilities
