POSITION INFO:

Estate & Club Communications & Events Coordinator – Melkbos, Cape Town

Salary: R25000 including medical aid and provident fund

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications or Marketing.

Min 5 years’ experience in relevant field of study.

Advanced English grammar skills.

Proven knowledge of social media trends, platforms and best practices for social media design.

A portfolio of published writing examples that demonstrate both an analytical approach

and strong creativity.

Graphic design skills and good command of working with design software.

An in-depth understanding of the various communication platforms and when to apply them.

A passion for digital storytelling, both in the written word and using visual tools. A keen eye for detail.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive team relationships, even in a remote work environment.

You work well under pressure and are capable of remaining focused despite rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines.

Ability and flexibility to meet tight deadlines, sometimes over weekends, public holidays and after-hours, as is expected in the 24/7 social media environment.

*The position requires exceptional writing skills as well as expertise in communicating effectively with different audiences across platforms.
