SUMMARY:
Our client in the Financial Services is urgently looking for a Committee Secretary to render appropriate secretariat and corporate governance services to the Board. The successful incument will be reporting to the Senior Committee Secretary

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric and appropriate/ relevant degree or diploma (legal qualifications will be added advantage) with at least 4 year’s relevant experience in minutes taking and corporate governance services. Experience in the regulatory environment coupled with the knowledge of the financial services sector will also be an added advantage.

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Render a professional secretariat service and minute taking to the Board and Governance Committees;
  • Ensure timeous communication and execution of decisions and resolutions of meetings by the relevant Board and Governance Committees;
  • Ensure adherence to the Quality Assurance standards and co-ordinate the Annual Meeting Calendar of the Board and Governance Committees
  • Responsible for logistics related to meetings of the Board and Governance Committees which include accommodation, catering, travel and venue bookings; and
  • Render administrative support which may be deemed necessary;

 

 

Other Key Competencies:

The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:  Good interpersonal skills; computer literacy; ability to work in a team; good communication (verbal and written) skills and have experience in corporate or company secretariat work.
