SUMMARY:
Our client in the Kriel area has an EE opportunity available for a Commissioning Manager. This is a contract position for 12 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

B Tech Construction Management (Essential/Minimum) or
B Eng (Relevant)(Essential/Minimum)
Certificate Project Management (Essential/Minimum)
Certificate First Line Management advantageous
8 years relevant construction/commissioning and Commercial exposure (Project Size dependent)
Must have underground mining experience

KPAs:

Updating of procedures, chapters and other relevant documentation to ensure project execution growth and improvement to a better maturity level
Be involved with tender evaluations and scoring of contractors
Commissioning checklists and methods are available at the start of construction, ideally for issue with enquiries
Redline Drawings are managed and correctly marked up and verified
Engineering Integrity sign offs
Support the development of commercial contracts from a quality control perspective
Ensure alignment of all key stakeholders on Quality Objectives
Management and coordination of external QA and QC service providers
Review and ensure delineation of quality control responsibilities to ensure customer/clients interests are sufficiently protected
