SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join Electrical team. Specializing in the Mining Industry our client offers services in design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of winders and hoisting related equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Experience:

5 years experience on mine winder equipment
Commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment including large drives, control systems, brake systems, safety systems, power supplies, transformers, switchgear, instrumentation, shaft interfaces.
Fault finding
Project management through commissioning phase
Training of internal and external staff
Technical support
Documentation of O&M manuals
Electrical Trade Test
Electrical Engineering Qualification

Skills Required:

Understanding of PLC’s and industrial devices
Understanding of control systems for winders
Understanding of winder drive performance
Working knowledge of industrial VSD platforms TMEIC, Gefran, and Sinamics
