Commercial Sales Executive

SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Commercial Sales Executive is to drive the sales of commercial vehicles and services, build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, and contribute to achieving sales targets within the region. Reporting to the Dealer Principal

POSITION INFO:

Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Research and analyse the commercial vehicle market within the Gauteng Inland Region to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
• Identify and approach new businesses that may benefit from commercial vehicles and related services.
• Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
• Lead the negotiation and closing of commercial vehicle sales, ensuring favourable terms for both the company and the customer.
• Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty to promote repeat business and referrals.
• Work closely with truck body builders to ensure that their modifications and equipment are following company OEM standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Experience as a Commercial Sales Executive for 2 years or more
• A successful sales track record, with networking and cold calling as an integral part of the process
• The ideal candidate would someone with excellent networking and negotiating skills (able to go out and source new business)
• Existing data base (advantageous)
• Valid SA driver’s license Code 10 and up is essential
• Knowledge of the latest ranges in commercial models
• Vehicle financing (advantageous)
• Understanding financial statements and tax implications
• Special license and registration processing
