Commercial Litigation Secretary

SUMMARY:
A dynamic law firm based in Cape Town CBD is seeking a strong individual to join and assist one of the Directors as their PA.

POSITION INFO:

This amazing firm seeks a strong Secretary. This office based role in Cape Town city centre is ideal if you enjoy working in a busy environment.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the Commercial Secretarial field
• Qualification in Law will be an added advantage but not essential
• Strong PA skills
• Advanced Computer skills
• Excellent typing skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Pro-active and highly organised

Duties:

• Typing/Drafting and formatting of Commercial Contracts, Legal Opinions and Memo''s and Letters
• Attending to the Registration of Companies and Trusts
• Registration of Companies and all related company secretarial matters, such as Director Changes, changes of address, MOI registration, name reservations and registrations, issue of shares: Conversion of Close Corporations to Companies etc.
• PA supportive role to Director and junior Attorney
• Arrange diaries and meetings
• Liaise with clients - must be presentable to clients at board level
• Well-spoken and educated - Accounts
• Attend to posting of fees, drafting of accounts, collection of fees
