A premium food and beverage organization is looking for an experience Commercial Cost Accountant to join their growing organization. The organization prides itself on delivering innovative solutions to its customers and the world and believes in sustainability and empowerment.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Commercial Cost Accountant will be responsible for setting and planning budgets and business plans with other key team members that will enable profitable growth for the organization. The Commercial Cost Accountant will be required to drive and develop plans to meet the business targets set, through proactive and strategic engagement with internal and customer teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking the validation report for pricing and UPT differences and product costing. The successful candidate will be responsible for cross functional leadership to champion a demand driven business, ensuring understanding and alignment throughout the value chain and generate information as well as develop and implement key strategic projects. The Commercial Cost Accountant will be responsible for performing variance analysis, margin analysis, Bill of Materials, Work In Progress, Product Costing and Standard Costing.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom in Cost Accounting/Accounting

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in the FMCG industry is preferred
Working knowledge of Syspro
Experience and working knowledge of imports and exports is preferred
Working knowledge of Bill of Materials, Work In Progress, Product Costing, Standard Costing etc.
Cross function ability
Strong financial acumen and business administration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Energetic and curious
Working knowledge of product costing, project management, and category management
Ability to analyze sales and margin performance
