Collections Agents
The purpose of an Collections Agent is to reduce the number and value of arrear accounts whilst maintaining Client Service standards and retain existing clients, as well as:
Client Engagement
Achieving individual monthly targets set on phoning arrear clients to obtain payment arrangements through effective negotiations with the clients. 
Continuously striving to improve the targets set within the department. 
Displaying an understanding of conflict by effectively using conflict-handling techniques. 
Adherence to scripts (opening, content and close). 
Resolving client queries within the prescribed turnaround times. 
Ensuring timeous referrals of escalation of arrangements outside of mandate to management.
Data Capturing
Proactively assessing work processes in order to recommend efficiencies. 
Accurately capturing updated contact information from the client. 
Ensuring productivity requirement targets are always met in line with processes and policy and procedures. 
Key Performance Areas

We’d love to hear from you if...
- You have and NQF Level 4 (matric) or higher, with a FAIS RE1 qualification and:
- 6 months of debt collection experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Access to reliable transport to and from Umhlanga.
