Cold Store Supervisor (Queenstown)

Cold Store Supervisor required for company in the FMCG industry based in Queenstown to oversee all activities involved in the storage of items on the cold store. You will also be responsible for running, directing and monitoring a team of workers to ensure efficient running of goods in cold storage and ensure a smooth flow of cold store orders received and dispatched.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and dispatch orders
• Manage goods received voucher (GRV) stock
• Monitor stock rotation and levels
• Manage and supervise cold store department staff and provide training
• Ensure effective communication with suppliers and customers relating to stock
• Manage stock takes
• Review stock orders to determine
• Achieve maximum productivity

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the FMCG / wholesale industry
• Valid driver’s license & own transport
• English a must (Afrikaans and Xhosa will be advantageous)
• Must have had experience with good stock controls and stock rotation
• Good people skills, planning skills and problem-solving skills
• Advantageous to have knowledge of Eastern Cape for distribution
• Must be willing to be based in Queenstown
