Cold Store Refrigeration Technicians

SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for 3 cold store refrigeration technicians based in Durban.

POSITION INFO:

Positions available:

• 1 x dayshift senior qualified and experienced Technician. Must be prepared to work overtime if we have an issue that the nightshift person cannot handle.
• 1 x dayshift junior qualified and experienced Technician. Must be prepared to work overtime if we have an issue that the nightshift person cannot handle.
• 1 x nightshift junior qualified and experienced Technician.

Details for: Senior Technician/engineer is qualified as follows:

1. At least 10 - 15 years’ experience with large scale ammonia refrigeration systems including:
1. Reciprocating and screw compressors;
2. Valve assemblies;
3. Condition based monitoring;
4. Plant safety;
5. Carel control systems.
2. Experience in the citrus cold-storage sector and an understanding of the temperature protocols is an advantage;
3. Certified as an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic;
4. Safe handling of Refrigerants - Category B (Ammonia refrigeration Practitioner)
5. Have management/supervisory experience
