Cold-Calling Expert … to manage introductory business development

SUMMARY:
Cortez Executive Search, founded 2002 - A People Solution business within the Nextec Group, is seeking to appoint a Cold-Calling expert to prospect introductory business development. We are searching for an experienced external sales expert to manage the cold calling function, focusing on search, talent mapping and PWD candidates.

POSITION INFO:

This role would suite a mature candidate who is comfortable on the phone reaching out to potential clients, who can manage a strategic sell and converse at a senior level.  Depth of experience in cold calling and driving targets to achieve sales goals that grow progressively larger over time.

• Planning introductory activity, to introduce yourself and the business to a prospect;
• Understanding the purpose of introductory calls to have a realistic attitude about this type of business development activity;
• Phone prospecting takes longer to pay off than other types of marketing efforts, so go into it knowing you’re exploring a new frontier and it’s going to take some time to get results;
• Telephonic work and desk-top activity, to reach and communicate directly with client.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Considerable experience in cold calling, telemarketing with business development capability
• Selling ability
• Knowledge of a strategic sell to high level executives
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to conceptualize, communicate, and fulfill visions
• Above all, persistence and passion!
