POSITION INFO:

Store Manager | Kuwait City | Coffee Shop and Roastery

We are looking for an experienced STORE MANAGER to join the team of a busy Coffee Shop located in Kuwait City. The store is an outlet of an expanding roastery with coffee being sourced from all over the world.

Main duties of the Store Manager:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the store
• Hire and onboard new waiting staff and baristas.
• Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk, and other ingredients)
• Maintain updated records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
• Add new menu items based on seasonality and customers’ preferences (for example vegan coffee drinks)
• Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy.
• Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost company’s reputation.
• Track online orders and ensure exact timing delivery (like Deliveroo, Talabat and Bleems).

Qualifications and skills required:

• At least 2 years of experience on managerial position at a coffee shop / café
• Formal qualification in Hospitality
• Very good knowledge of coffee making skills / espresso machines
• Fluent English
• Good managerial skills
• Good knowledge of coffee shop operations
• Passionate about coffee industry
• Coaching and training skills

Start: The start date will be establish based on the visa process and this might take up to 3 months.

Salary package for Store Manager:

• Basic KWD 250 – 300 (ZAR 12000 – 14500) TAX FREE
