POSITION INFO:

Main purpose / objective

The Clinical instructor/preceptor provides students with clinical skills to qualify for the profession of Speech-Language Pathology.
The purpose of this position is to facilitate platforms and logistics for clinical training and assessment of students.
To ensure students gain clinical knowledge & reasoning.
To ensure that the students accumulate clinical hours as stipulated in the HPCSA guidelines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 2 years’  clinical experience in speech therapy.

Experience in student’s  clinical supervision will be an added advantage.
