SUMMARY:
Client in JHB North seeking a Clinical Digital Lead to support and facilitate best practice and efficiency in the clinical domain through the implementation of focused clinical digital improvement strategies.

POSITION INFO:

Work with HIT Department to support the efficient design, implementation, and use of health technology within Company, to provide the best and safest, digitally enabled health and care.Support the HIT Department in driving the adoption and implementation of health technologies such as electronic medical records (EMRs), electronic health records (EHRs), computerised physician order entry (CPOE), clinical decision support (CDS) systems, health information exchanges (HIEs), and other technologies used in the clinical setting. Designing solutions to support HIO needs in line with business requirements and best clinical and information technology practices, while also guiding the clinical and IT departments on methodologies, processes and best practices according to Company’s Enterprise Architecture framework and Information Security principles.

Clinical degree at NQF level 7 is essential.

Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.ORK EXPERIENCE

3-5 years working experience in a clinical environment.

Experience in training, coaching and mentoring and providing IT system support to end users. Experience in working on an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
