POSITION INFO:

MISSION
Complete the contract works in the most effective manner and in the shortest period possible. Complete the required Work - Zero Harm to any stakeholder; in an ethical manner; with clarity and transparency; mutual respect; within/below budget; on time; complying with all specifications and quality requirements the first time; no scope gaps; and no defects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES	KEY ACTIVITIES
Complete and submit weekly individual Quality Inspection Registers.	Request for Inspection AND Closing out of NCR inspections, data book approval inspections AND data book reviews.
Strive towards 0% COMPANY rejection rate (inspections and data dossiers)	0% error in on-time booking of Site Quality inspections or Data Dossier Inspections with Company
	Through review and commenting on EC & I and HAZLOC data dossiers prior to submittal for review by Company
	Report to the Head of Quality any discrepancy or risk regarding the above tasks.
Complete and submit Quality daily diaries	List all Quality related tasks performed per day.
	Provide factual evidence of delays to Works such as strikes, material/equipment shortage, Company delaying inspections etc.
	Photo''s (if possible) with brief description of Works to be listed within each Daily Diary.
	Report to the Head of Quality any possible risks that may endanger progress of the Works.
Expedite the issuing and closing out of all EC & I NCR''s (internal & external)	Expedite the issuing and closing out of all EC & I HAZLOC NCR''s (internal & external)
Attendance of Quality related meetings (internal and external) AND verify field (site) EC & I and HAZLOC installations and testing.	Attendance of Quality related meetings (internal and external), verify field (site) EC & I and HAZLOC installations and testing AND standing in as acting Quality Head in his absence
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Basic IT Tools: Familiar with use of Office software tools.
Commercial Principles: Understanding of the contract
Document Management & Archiving: Knowledge and implementation of document controlling/management techniques and methods.
Health & Safety: Knowledge of techniques and principles of safety and ability to execute health & safety principles for all employees
Planning & Scheduling: Ability to plan and execute the works/project requirements.
