SUMMARY:
Client Service Account Manager

POSITION INFO:

The Account Manager requires a practical knowledge and understanding of research processes, techniques and the retail environment. The Account Manager will be responsible for many aspects of research studies, especially client request and reporting. A Key function of the Account Manager will be to provide support to the Group Account Managers across all projects. This includes insightful and actionable recommendations, ad hoc analysis, mentoring where required and once off project deliverables. Client relationship management may be required.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Accountable to Executives, Group Account Managers and Clients.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Client Relationship Manager 
• Responsible and accountable for managing the entire client account (Client Liaison) 
• Developing the existing client account/business and new client business 
• Final check of data delivered to client and manage data queries 
• Compile and analyse final presentation delivered to client 
•  Discuss and Agree timing of data delivery to client Account Management 
•  Manage and liaise with internal service departments 
• Complete internal meeting information and feedback as required for team and attend the meetings  Client Queries SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: 
• Ability to write proposals/reports and present in front of an audience 
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Ability to work under pressure 
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines 
• Self-motivator 
• Team player 
• Proficiency with MS Office packages a must – good Excel Knowledge required i.e. pivot tables and charts 
• Presentable, passionate and energetic 
• Solid knowledge of the research process and some analytical skills. 
• Business acumen 
• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Own Transport required 
• Willingness to travel 

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

• 3 years or more experience in a research environment or client interfacing role essential 
• Experience in a research agency and retail tracking preferable 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Tertiary qualification - Marketing preferable
